Continuing the gilded linocut prints experiment, I have used one of my older house front designs applying gold leaf as accents for smaller elements (door, windows, roofs, or narrow houses). The effects are completed by the color of the paper, reminding me of Hundertwasser's beautiful works, both on paper and in architecture.

Stories with paintings
This
is another of my idealized vistas of Sibiu / Hermanstadt (in Transylvania), made in 2014, with a bit of
collage (linocut prints of the old tower and narrow alley) and acrylic on canvas. The
photo is rather truthful in its color tones, so it shows the reason why
I like it so much. Hope it's owner enjoys it too!
In order to reveal some of the technique employed, here are the individual linocut prints that I used in the general composition. In order to better integrate them the prints have been cut closer to the intended contours and partially painted over.

Another online art shop
In the spree of web shop making, I have added a special page on my website with various art works available in my studio. One can arrange a visit or order online and I shall send the items via the post, in Romania or abroad. I think people are a bit shy to esquire about prices or visit art studios that might seem "alien" spaces, so it might be good for artists to come out, show some art pieces and provide a general price for them.
I have just started filling in this page, so do check again from time to time, to see what's new on Dragalina Street in Cluj-Napoca :)
