Print Day in May

I'm all in! Print Day in May sounds like a fun way to promote printmaking and tie the net of a wide community of artists and art lovers. This year, the seventh edition, has been rightfully set for the 7th of May - my printing press is ready and I am artist with a plan! Do join in, print and share on that date, join the Facebook Community, and even win printmaking products!

My studio is all prepared for the event and the printing press ready to do what is required of it :) Not sure if Cluj-Napoca / Romania is on the map for this occasion, but I'd love to add it!

 

Happy houses part III

The only drawback of this project was the bent paper. For lack of proper storage in my studio, I keep printing paper rolled up - and it seems this large sheet of black paper has been rolled up for quite some time. Working with such sheets is not impossible, but it does present one with certain issues, especially while working with small lino fragments. This tend to get messy, slipping of and sliding around, so I must take into consideration acquiring a nice cabinet, preferably open for easy access, such as those HERE.

Introducing Lucian

Lucian is a detail maker, applying his love of graphic and decorative embellishment to various surfaces, from classical paintings, drawings, and prints, to shoes, ceramic objects, bookmarks, boxes, earrings and, basically, everything he can get his talented hands on! Garage Art Sale

In prima sambata a fiecarei luni va invitam sa cotrobaiti prin atelierul nostru din str. Anatole France nr. 48. Va asteptam de la 11 la 18 cu lucrari mai vechi si mai noi, de/ale noastre si de/ale altor prieteni, cele mai multe inutile, unele chilipiruri, altele cam scumpe. Avem tablouri, gravuri, sculpturi, figurine de ceramica, veioze, ghivece, scrumiere, magneti, cercei, semne de carte si multe alte minunatii. Va asteptam la atelier. Ana si Viviana
